Project Manager

Our client is a leader in the engineering, project and business consulting for the mining and infrastructure industries.  They are looking for a Project Manager for their Mississauga location.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage project execution team consisting of personnel from Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, Construction and Commissioning departments.
• Manage the technical, commercial and contractual requirements of the project.
• Outline scope of and division of work between all parties.
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, scope documents, and coordinate project invoicing and payments.
• Administer contracts, manage project changes and change orders and perform cost control functions.
• Manage the procurement process.
• Manage the site construction and coordinate with site construction managers.
• Ensure compliance with safety and QA/QC programs.
• Manage the commissioning process
• Act as the main commercial and technical liaison with the customer.
• Provide input to proposals, estimates, and budgets.

Job Requirements

• Post secondary education in Engineering related field required
• 10 years of relevant progressive experience in EPC project management
• Fluency in Spanish is an asset
• Completed Professional PM designation strongly preferred
• High degree of skill and efficiency using MS-Project and MS-Office software products

Remuneration

• Base salary depending on experience.
