Minimum Requirements

• Preferably with a BSc in Geology or Mineral resourcing, suitable applicants will ideally have over 5 years’ experience working in a similar position.

Job Specification

The continuous growth of the world-class company now boasts a huge $5Bn market capitalisation running across global borders. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Mineral Resource Manager to be centred in Witwatersrand with immediate effect within their mining division.

• The role will report to the Mine Manager and be employed on a permanent basis.
• Preferably with a BSc in Geology or Mineral resourcing, suitable applicants will ideally have over 5 years’ experience working in a similar position.

Your key duties will include:

• Grow the mineral resource and mineral reserve base.
• Manage daily operations relating to Geology, Survey, Sampling and Planning.
• Provide a Quality Service to the Mining, Engineering and Metallurgical divisions.
• Compile Monthly, Annual and Life of Mine plans as required by the operation.
• Ensure the production areas as scheduled in planning are delivered into the plan and the overall production plan is met in terms of tons and grade (kilograms)
• Budget controls.
• Ensure Safety, Health, Legal and Regulatory compliance within the MRM discipline.
• An annual cost to company package from R1m to R1.4m is provided plus a performance bonus and excellent career progression.
