Business Manager - Fire Assay Fluxes

A large Chemical co. requires the above to promote various fire assay fluxes and consumables to the African Mining and Geochemical Laboratory Assay markets.

The person must have an extensive knowledge of the African Mining and Laboratory market with emphasis on production of precious metals.

Minimum Requirements

• A tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Mining or Geochemistry is required.
• Exposure to detailed tender processes used by large corporations would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the process of Fire Assay Fluxes and Nickle Fluxes would be a distinct advantage for this position.

Job Specification

• Experience may have been gained through working in a geochemical assay laboratory where the candidate was responsible for assaying of precious metal bearing ores via Fire Assay method. 
• The candidate must have the ability to deal with all levels of management and must have strong communication skills that allow them to operate with senior procurement managers, laboratory managers and research Geochemists.
