Project Manager

Description

• Reputable Heavy Civil and Mine Development Contractor are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a member of the Project Management team, you will work closely with the Project Coordinator and Site Superintendent to ensure efficient project completion.

Responsibilities:

• Create and execute project work plans and make revisions to meet changing needs and requirements
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project and scope
• Budget and forecast project costs
• Conduct regular status meetings with project team
• Lead and supervise project team members
• Regularly monitor and report project progress to all stakeholders
• Quality Assurance
• Set and manage client expectations
• Work cooperatively with clients to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen business relationships

Qualifications:

• Five to ten years’ experience in construction/mining industry in a project management role
• Engineering Degree or Technical Diploma
• Excellent computer skills including Excel and project management software
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Proven ability to lead and influence others
• Excellent planning, organizing, and decision making skills
