Environmental Engineer

Small design consultancy that specialises in Civil, Structural and Geo-Environmental Engineering are looking to recruit an Environmental / Geo-Environmental Engineer. Based in West Yorkshire they work with varied clients including House Builders, Private Developers and Commercial Developers within Manufacturing & Warehousing.

As the Environmental Engineer you will form part of the small specialist team and your duties will include:

• Desk Top Studies
• Phase 2 Reporting
• Remediation Strategy
• Remediation Validation
• Site Supervision

Based within the office your role will be to look at problematic sites and produce a positive solution. The role will be a mix of office and site based work, although this role will largely be office based as additional junior site support will be made available.

The ideal candidate should be degree educated within one of the following disciplines; BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology, or similar.

You should have a proven track record working for either private sector engineering consultancies or contractors, have the ability to work on your own and possess excellent time management skills and communication skills.
