Senior Planners / Planning Managers

Due to growth within the Infrastructure business we're seeking a Senior Planners / Planning Managers for a Major Project in the South West area.

Role and Responsibilities
• Responsible for all aspects of programming for projects in which involved including developing from contract documents, progressing and reporting, amending and reviewing for change.
• Able to report and present directly to clients
• Able to act as focus for Site Engineering/technical matters would be an advantage including temporary works.
• Responsible for junior staff including training and experience as appropriate

Experience and qualifications
• Preferred ably degree educated and a full member of the institution of Civil Engineers
• Experience of programming and monitoring Civil Engineering type projects ranging from small to major (circa £50M plus).
• Good Experience of Design Build projects including experience of programming and monitoring design activities.
• Good site Engineering skills
• Good interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written.
• Good IT skills including familiarity with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project and Office.
• Experience in and if necessary able to manage change control systems.
• Good experience of multi disciplined type projects
• Up to date training and knowledge in safety and environmental matters (CITB or SMTS minimum)
