We are urgently seeking an experienced geo environmental consultant for an international multidisciplinary consultancy based in Glasgow. This award winning organisation are seeking an individual to join the contaminated land department and assist in the management of a range of geo environmental projects.

Candidates are required to have a background in contaminated land investigation and risk assessment. Typically duties will include phase 1 and phase 2 site investigation, technical report writing, desk studies and client liaison. Suitable candidates will have experience completing quantitative risk assessments and sound knowledge and understanding of the Part 2A legal context is essential.

The client has requested candidates who have an excellent academic background preferable degree qualifications are in the following disciplines; BSc Geology, Geoscience or Geochemistry, ideally with MSc Environmental Engineering, Contaminated Land or Engineering Geology.

You will partake in contaminated land projects and participate in hazard identification, hazard assessment, risk estimation, risk evaluation.

The position offers a competitive salary together with bonuses.
