Laboratory Technician

Job Responsibilities

• Job duties would consist of, but are not limited to, sample preparation for analyses, sample disposal, and simple analyses. The successful candidate will be required to perform various environmental sample analyses; which may include pH, conductivity, turbidity, miscibility and other EPA mandated drinking water parameters. Must be detail oriented, well organized, ability to multi-task and possess aptitude to operate laboratory equipment, LIMS program, and accessing company network. Other routine lab duties will be involved. Will work closely with analysts and chemists to manage backlog of samples. Must be able to communicate with other department level experts on technical questions or issues that may arise. Must be able to follow strict lab protocol, be dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently and work well in a team atmosphere.

Qualifications

• A BS/BA in Chemistry with minimal amount of experience in an environmental lab is preferred but not required.
