Sales and Marketing Representative

Job Responsibilities

  • This client support position requires the individual to be able to consult with the laboratories’ current clients as well as potential new clients on a technical level in regards to the client’s needs in respect to the services the laboratory offers. The selected candidate will need to possess knowledge of the Core Corporate Vision and Company Policies, have industrial knowledge, good communication skills, both interpersonal and written. Travel will be required approximately 75% of the workweek. Self-motivation and enthusiasm tempered with integrity and humility are qualities we are looking for in our sales person. 
Job Description:   
  • Maintains Relationships with Clients providing support, information and guidance with laboratory services. Researching and recommending new opportunities to current and prospective clients.
  • Identify business opportunities, prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options
  • Develops Sales & Marketing Strategy by studying economic indicators; tracking changes in supply and demand; identifying clients and their current and future needs; monitoring competitors Maintains Quality Service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors Degree in a science related field and work experience in the chemistry field is preferred. Past sales and marketing experience will also be considered.
