Object Oriented Software Developer

Job Responsibilities

  • [Company] is looking for a highly motivated Software Developer to work on the core information systems of our company. As a member of the application development and support teams, the developer will both maintain software applications in ELI’s Laboratory Information Management System as well as develop new applications for integration with the core systems. The successful candidate will be based out of our corporate headquarters in Billings, MT; infrequent travel to other lab locations may be required.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop custom logic for new applications to support [Company] business
  • Support existing applications through troubleshooting and issue resolution

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and relational database design and development
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills

Desired Skills:

  • Competency in one or more of the following languages: C#, ASP, .NET, XML, WPF, JavaScript. Fluency with Visual Studio, Microsoft development tools and MS SQL Server 
  • Experience working as a team member and desire to be a team player 
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills 
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, MIS or related discipline 
  • Development background in MS Access/VBA and integration with Microsoft Office products.
