Senior Water Resources Engineer

Position Summary:

We have an immediate opening for a qualified and experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer to work on a range of international projects. The successful candidate will join a dynamic company of motivated and hardworking professionals committed to delivering high quality services. Initiative, enthusiasm and commitment to technical excellence are all important qualities of our team members - a sense of adventure certainly helps.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years experience in hydrology or surface water engineering
  • Demonstrated ability in water resources including hydrology, water balance, water supply feasibility and water reuse
  • Experience in flood modelling,  risk analyses, hydraulic structures, erosion control works, tailing systems, dams and waterway rehabilitation an advantage
  • Degree in hydrology, environmental engineering or civil engineering preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (other languages are an asset)
  • Demonstrated report writing skills
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills, and ability to supervise, train and mentor junior to intermediate staff
  • Willingness to travel, ability to work in team environments or autonomously
