About our Client
Our client is a global mining company, that is a leading producer of their chosen commodity. They have numerous mine sites around the world, including a number of mines in Australia. Due to recent development of their Western Australian mine sites they are now looking for a Financial Accountant with excellent Pronto experience to join their finance team.

Job Description
Reporting to the head of Finance, your main duties will include but not be limited to:

• Develop the Accounts Department and Group accounting practices
• Performance review of Monthly and Quarterly Group Accounting reports
• Responsible for review of Statutory reports in accordance with accounting standards
• Pronto administrator support to the Accounting function across the group including across the mine sites
• Efficient delivery of Pronto systems integration of future acquisitions/mergers

The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified and have completed your CA/CPA/ACCA or CIMA. You will have substantial experience with PRONTO, preferably having acted as a systems administrator or worked through an implementation. In addition you will have good financial accounting experience and knowledge of Australian accounting standards. Previous experience within the mining industry would also be highly regarded but is not essential. You will be able to work within a team environment and possess a proactive approach.
