Service Technician

Proud South African firm providing condition monitoring services, solutions and technology for the Technical industry is in dire need of a Service Technician.

  • The successful candidate must have experience with companies in the mining, manufacturing and engineering industries. 
  • The duties of the incumbent would be to determine the health of the companies' machines through patented surveillance methods and/ or on-site surveys. 
  • Consult and advise companies on the implementation and/or improvement of condition based maintenance. 
  • Enable these companies to reach an Optimal Production.

Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12 certificate
  • Must have trade qualification as a Electrician
  • Minimum of 4 years experience
  • Valid drivers license and own transport
  • Electrical service experience
  • Fault finding and problem solving experience
  • Ability to read technical specifications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose problems
  • Ability to operate power tools and equipment with precision
  • Oral communications skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Good health, physical fitness, stamina and manual dexterity
  • Knowledge of safe working procedures
  • Person must reside in the Witbank or surrounding area.
