This organisation is established across the World as a leader in exploration and associated services.  Contributing to the operations of energy majors across the World a vacancy currently exists for a Rig Safety & Training Advisor to join their team. This is a fantastic professional opportunity to work within a highly regarded organisation and team. 
 
Key to this role is the co-ordination and supervision operational rig teams. The Rig Safety & Training Advisor will work alongside the Rig Manager and report directly to the Safety Manager. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal are essential.  Primary responsibilities are ensuring the implementation safety standards and procedures in the field liaising between operational teams, management and stakeholders.
 
While the ability to work autonomously and organise workload are essential to success the incumbent will be uncompromisingly a team player. Previous experience in safety supervisory roles within the drilling industry is essential.  
 
Knowledge of drill methods, energy or exploratory, is pivotal to your success in this role and contributing positively to team outcomes.  Current Certificate IV Training and Assessment is essential. Cert IV Occupational Health and Safety highly regarded. 
 
This is a Queensland based FIFO role.  Equal time and attractive salary package offered.
