Machine Operator/ Lab Technician
Job Description:
- Aerotek is currently seeking experienced individuals for a Machine Operator/ Technician position available with a company in the oil and refinery industry located in Sparks, NV.
- Candidates will be required to set-up and operate the pilot plant's equipment, such as scrub machines, assist research engineers with data collection as well as handle chemicals and hazardous materials.
Ideal candidates will have experience in at least one of the following:
- Assay labs - mining - environmental testing
- Chemistry - geology - laboratory work
- Remediation work - research and development
Requirements:
- Experience operating equipment, preferably in a laboratory environment
- Computer literate
- Experience handling, storing and disposing of chemicals
- Trained in safety regulations (OSHA or HAZWOPER certified a plus)
- Mechanically inclined
- Experience testing concrete ideal
- This is a long-term contract opportunity on first shift from 8am to 5pm. It pays $15 to $17 per hour DOE and offers benefits.
