Responsibilities
- The Foreman is responsible for assuming first line supervisor duties: hiring qualified craftsmen, scheduling/directing crew work, preparing work plans, assuring quality control, managing/tracking costs, scheduling equipment and subcontractors, administering safety programs, training staff members, and maintaining positive owner relations.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess the following:
- A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- The ability to manage all aspects of a construction project, including scheduling, cost, safety and quality.
- Strong work ethics - Willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
- Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
- Must be a self-starter, with the ability to work well under pressure, perform multiple duties, and meet deadlines.
- The ability to freely access all points on a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
