Branch Manager

Acme Labs is currently recruiting for the positions of Branch Manager for various locations in North America (including US and Mexico). Branch Managers are responsible for the overall operation of the branch, personnel, clients, and quality control. This position reports to the Global Sample Preparation Manager.

Qualifications:

• College or University education – preferably in science and/or business/management
• More than 2 yrs experience in management or supervisory position
• Previous experience in a minerals lab or mining and exploration setting preferred

Responsibilities:

• Manages all issues regarding employees including hiring, firing, scheduling, conflict resolution, and training
• Assures all Acme policies, SOP’s, QA/QC are adhered to throughout the sample preparation process as well as following all local laws and regulations
• Responsible for lab efficiency and maximizing staff performance
• Maintains close professional client relationships and provides logistical support to clients
• Works as part of a bigger team with other managers to continuously improve systems

Specifications:

• Fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• May involve some physically demanding task of using equipments to crush, pulverize and /or sieve geological samples for analysis
• Must be willing and able to relocate when required
• Other duties as assigned by Global Sample Preparation Manager
