This leading energy organisation has experienced sustained growth since entering the Brisbane market 18 months ago.  With this growth set to continue they have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Joint Venture Accountant to join their CBD office.

Reporting to the Finance Manager your will be responsible for managing an assistant accountant whilst managing the joint venture process.  This will incorporate review and distribution of monthly JV accounts, analysis of non-operated JV reports, implement procedures to maximise expense recovery and managing the monthly timesheet process.  You will also compile and analyse management reports, develop and maintain financial systems, assist with annual budgets and cash-flow and any other ad-hoc duties as requested.

To be successful in this role you will have a CA/CPA qualification coupled with extensive experience within management / joint venture accounting.  You will ideally have experience within the oil and gas industry and have developed strong communication and organisational skills.  Having the ability to think outside the box and provide recommendations for efficiency or cost saving will be highly advantageous.
