One of the top global energy companies is currently seeking a Logistics Marine and Supply Base Supervisor.

The Company is undertaking Shallow Water Drilling for One Firm Well and One Option Well exploration drilling Offshore Mozambique.

The operation entails establishing a jack-up rig and supplying equipment and materials from a shore base in Beira (Supply base), using two supply boats.  Security Services comprising of security vessels shall also be deployed during the drilling operations. The Supply base will be operated by a 4PL Contractor, reporting directly into this position.

Edu / Exp / Skills

• Minimum 18 years relevant Marine and Materials Drilling Logistics  Experience
• Supply Base Management work Experience and Knowledge is also critical
• Active Offshore Survival Certificate and Offshore Medical Certificate
• Very Good Computer literary - Microsoft Programs (Word & Excel)

Duties

The Candidate shall be responsible for coordinating and managing all Logistics activities at the Supply base including but not limited to Vessel loading and offloading, managing Load out lists, managing bulk transfers, managing material storage and tracking, etc

• Management of the set-up and operations of the Supply base
• Management of the set-up and operations of the Helibase
• Mange all Logistics Operating Procedures including Logistics
• Management of all Logistics Safety Health and Environmental requirements
• Management of all Materials handling operations,  Inventory Management, supervision of full inventory and asset valuation for Company owned materials/assets
• Personnel and aviation movements – all 3rd party personnel required to and from rigs, crew changes, vital airfreight and ad hoc helicopter movements
• Vessel loading, load outs and movements
• Transport movements from truck movements as per vessel load out including truck movements
• Material load outs & manifests
• Equipment tracking including rental, drill bits, casing and consumables for the drilling operation
• Maintain Equipment and Materials cost sheets (compilation and valuation of assets and rental tools)
• Daily interface with Drilling Operations and Reporting. Responsible for the coordination of all daily materials operations requirements for Drilling Operation
• Coordination and management of material receipts, issues and returns to and from Supply base
• Co-ordination and management of all Logistics Service Providers (Helicopter, 4PL, etc)
• Co-ordination and management of the Integrated Service Provider Logistics Personnel (s)
• Co-ordination of all Logistic Close out activities
