Job Description:
- [Company] has teamed up with a number of engineering groups in search of Junior and Senior level Construction Material Technicians for projects in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.
- Candidates require current material testing certifications: ACI
- Soils Field Inspector – monitor earthwork fill operations, evaluate fill soils, determine the moisture content and in-place dry density of backfill materials and observe compaction operations.
- ACI Certified Field Technician – Field testing of concrete to determine the percentage entrained air, slump, and prepare specimens for compressive breaking strength of concrete cylinders.
- Field Inspector/Construction Supervisor: on a daily basis, provide written field observation reports. Where nonconformance items are observed in the field, these items shall be brought to the attention of Construction Quality Control Manager on the day observed with any recommendations for correction.
