Senior Sales Representative
Position Summary:
- Working out of our Memphis Rail Yard, responsible for sales in the greater Memphis area and northeastern Arkansas. Develop and maintain favorable and effective relationships with customers in the construction /asphalt, grading, bridge, utility and ready-mix customer segments.
- Work with quarry personnel regarding inventory, production, and forecasts to provide a high level of efficiency for the quarry and the yard. Analyze market trends and activity to create strategic solutions to market shifts.
- Develop yearly sales budgets based on market intelligence acquired through customer interaction, Department of Transportation spending, and other market informational tools.
- Manage and enter sales orders. Work effectively with district credit personnel regarding new accounts and accounts receivable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience required
- 5+ year’s sales experience, preferably in the aggregates or construction industry
- Proven sales, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Strong organizational and management skills with demonstrated ability to move an enterprise forward
- Ability to work within a team to achieve district and company objectives
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
