Senior Mechanical Engineer – Mining

We are currently seeking a SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER to work with the Firm's large MINING group in Saskatoon, SK.

A minimum of eight (8) years experience working as a Mechanical Engineer is required, with expertise in heavy industrial and/or surface/underground mining preferred. The candidate must have a university Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, from an accredited university. Membership in good standings with a professional engineering association in the Province of Saskatchewan (or another Canadian jurisdiction) is essential. Strong computer skills, in particular with MS Office Suite, and some knowledge of computer aided drafting software such as ACAD is required.

As Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be required to provide detail design engineering for mine infrastructure projects; including providing detail design engineering for drawings and specifications for material handling systems, pumping/piping systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, mine ventilation systems, industrial HVAC systems, hoisting systems and all other related mine infrastructure. You will provide technical support and handle all tasks required by a Senior Mechanical Engineer with expertise in heavy mechanical equipment and mining infrastructures.
