Our current markets include government, aggregates, mining, oil/gas, waste management, precision farming, property development and environmental engineering firms. Accuas has seen steady growth over the last several years and we are poised to aggressively expand into current and new markets and geographic regions throughout Ontario and Quebec.
Regional Sales and Marketing Manager - Unmanned Aerial Surveys and Geomatic Services
MONTREAL, QUEBEC (REGIONAL OFFICE)
The Position
The Regional Sales and Marketing Manager will focus on strengthening our current client relations and building new contacts and potential clients, following up on leads and developing sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue and build client satisfaction.
Location
Preferably in Montreal, but we will consider candidates based in other regions of Quebec and in Ontario. Accuas works extensively with virtual office technologies, including VOIP and web based technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop sources of market intelligence and lists of potential clients
- Create business links and developing long term client relationships
- Generate and drive local and regional sales of Accuas services
- Manage sales pipelines, creating, updating and reporting sales forecasts to the President and VP of Sales
- Utilize traditional and creative marketing techniques such as social and web applications
- Assist in creating sales presentations, and be available to travel and present in person and through remote desktop meetings
- Attend tradeshows and conferences occasionally.
Desired Traits
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a direct sales, business to business role
- Experience and knowledge of the geomatics industry, preferably in one of GIS, surveying, LIDAR, aerial mapping, remote sensing, photogrammetry, or civil engineering
- Excellent communicator, motivated, self starter, self confident with an optimistic attitude who can carry out responsibilities with minimal direction
- Proven skills in developing, maintaining and enhancing client relationships
- Prior experience with ESRI software is an asset
- Experience managing CRM systems such as SalesForce or similar
- Ability to work with various software programs for demonstrations is an asset
- Ability to manage RFP's
- Experience with various marketing/presentation tools such as Powerpoint, Sliderocket, Linkedin, Facebook, etc
- Possess an university degree or college diploma in either: GIS, Geography, Business Administration, Engineering or similar
- Fluent in English and French
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Able to excel under pressure and adapt to change
- This is a new disruptive technology and one that is poised for rapid growth. The ability to share our vision and understand the possibilities is vital.
- Good sense of humour is important.
Compensation
Will commensurate with experience, skills and education and will include a base salary and an excellent commission rate.
