This organisation is a leading provider of data management systems to the exploration and mineral processing industries in Australia and overseas. Based in Perth, WA they have experienced substantial growth over the last 10 years and have ambitious plans for further development into the future. Their ongoing success and continued growth has resulted in them looking to appoint a Business Development Manager on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the COO you will be responsible for developing a strategic sales plan and being hands on in implementing this through the business. You will use your knowledge of the mining industry to target relevant contacts in the market and utilise your sales skills by securing contracts with new clients. You will also travel regularly to mine sites to meet your clients and regularly attend relevant industry functions and networking events.

You will be an experienced business development professional with experience of selling IT/ data solutions ideally within the mining industry. However applications will be considered from candidates with mining sales experience with high level of IT knowledge and an interest in this area.
