About the company:
Our client has been in operation for over 50 years and predominantly operate in the Geraldton area but will also operate on a statewide basis. Headed up by a team of exceptional Managers’, this Survey practice are more than capable of delivering projects in the civil engineering, mining, oil & gas and subdivision sectors. They are well renowned for promoting from within and have a great track record of developing Surveyors careers.
About the Role:
Having recently secured a number of new projects, our client is seeking Surveyors to work on civil construction (road & rail), mining, topographical and geodetic survey projects throughout the Geraldton and the rest of Western Australia. Reporting to the Senior Partners, you will work in teams and assist in the successful delivery of projects that include oil & gas, pipelines, earthworks, roads, commercial construction etc. You will be working with the latest technology such as Leica and Robotic Total Stations and Leica Geosystems in order to conduct accurate Surveying duties. There is a mixture of localised work and FIFO work available
About the Requirements:
Surveyors are required of all levels to create solid work teams.
Depending on your level of ability, you must possess the following:
- Formal Surveying or civil engineering qualifications
- Be ideally WA or Geraldton based – FIFO will be considered
- Ideally have 3+ years experience
- Proficient with Leica Robotic Total Station or other engineering equipment
- GPS knowledge
- Experience of using software such as 12D and AutoCAD
- Be a team player
- Strong communications
- Good IT skills
