Senior Project Planner

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Project Planner to develop and manage all Planning for the company across projects, assets and geographies.

Edu / Skill:

Essential:

• Min Bachelors degree/equiv diploma or related qualification
• Specialist knowledge of project planning including using Primavera P5/6
• Excellent Ms Office skills
• Proven track record of excellent writing and presentation skills
• Working knowledge of Critical Path Planning

Preferred:

• Exp in a Project Planning Software e.g. Ms Project, PRISM
• Knowledge of Enterprise Planning
• Knowledge and exp of SAP

Experience:

• 6 to 10 yrs Planning and related exp
• Extensive Project Management Exposure
• Stakeholder relationship (Business Owners, Project Managers) is beneficial
• Developing and maintaining project plans
• Alignment of planning approach to take into account project WBS and AFE’s
• Develop and manage project portfolio at enterprise level
• Upstream Oil & Gas exposure will be beneficial
• Exp in Primavera P6 and or P3
• Interaction with contractors on project plans and schedule management
• EPCM planning experience

Required outputs:

• WBS input / update activity data
• Development and Management of project asset and enterprise plans
• Embed Primavera P6 as the planning tool for all projects
• Comfortable engaging at the highest executive level
• Report on Earned Value Management on all Projects
• Liaise with and provide functional support to project
• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules
