Responsibilities

  • An Intern position provides a hands-on learning experience directly related to responsibilities that transfer to skills needed in a full-time position.  The opportunity is available to develop, participate and learn key roles and functions within construction project management operations.

Our interns are exposed to any number of responsibilities held by our entry-level employees including:

  • Planning
  • Estimating
  • Scheduling
  • Progress reporting and cost control
  • Material and equipment management
  • Surveying and quantity tracking
  • Temporary structure design
  • Field operations supervision
  • Subcontractor coordination

Qualifications

  • Must be pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction or a related degree.
  • Must have knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Be willing to fully participate in job assignments at the job site, district office or department to which the intern is assigned.
