My client. a leading global EPC company, has won a multimillion mining project in Ukraine and are looking for an experienced Project Manager to represent them with an Ukrainian design institute. The person would directly work with the project office in Canada.
The position offers a 6/2 rotation, a competitive package and excellent carrier progression opportunities.
Responsibilities and duties
- Responsible for daily monitoring the design institute
- Provide overall leadership and direction to the resident project team
- Overview the design institutes contractors quality and progress of work as well as compliance with the contract
- To be the Key interface point for the design institute
- Maintain effective coordination of the ECU project team and other contractors as required
- Ensure that the institute has proper cost, schedule, and progress control, reporting and forecasting systems in place
- Ensure that the contractor has appropriate workforce to deliver effectively
- Ensure effective definition and reporting to Project Director, of issues and areas of concern on the design institute contractors execution
Qualifications Skills and Experience
- 10+ years experience in project management
- Experience on large international projects in mining
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant field
- Extensive knowledge in EPC
