Transport Advisor

A Major International Oil and Gas operator is seeking a Transport Advisor to join their team as part of a Multi- Billion Dollar LNG project in Papua New Guinea.

As Transport Advisor you will be responsible for the Effective Management of the Ground Transportation services to include documented protocols and procedures.

Other Key Duties Include:

• Plan future driver and vehicle requirements, selection, acquisition, training, operation and maintenance of the transport function.

• Prepares budgets and work programs for the transportation organization to ensure appropriate transportation systems are in place for the future.

• Mentor and develop the transport organizations national staff with a focus on career progression, training and education.

• Manage the ground transport organization including Drivers, Dispatchers, Vehicle Acquisition, maintenance and deployment in PNG.

Suitable candidates will require a minimum of 5 years experience within a fleet ground transportation organization and fleet dispatching experience would be a bonus. Candidates would also be held in high regard if they have prior experience working in remote locations or developing countries.
