Quantity Surveyor

The Company
This opportunity is with a Joint Venture partnership between two global business leaders defining and leading the international natural resources market. 
  • This partnership involves overseeing the construction of several expansion projects simultaneously with current growth plans of over $7billion of capital investment.
  • This particular large project covers all aspects of mining development and encompasses all work packages.  
  • A large WA based project which is about to move into the next phase now requires a site based QS with a contracts administration background.  
  • This billion dollar project is in the early stages of the expansion project offering long term contracts. This will involve projects and work packages across all engineering fields of construction.
 
The Role:
  • Contracts Administration functions
  • Ensure all estimates are prepared and reviewed in accordance with tender procedures and to client's requirements
  • Identify, analyse and development responses to commercial risks
  • Provide advice on contractual claims
  • Perform risk and value management and cost control
This on-going role is of high importance to the current project  and the expansion projects in the future. This role will also assist with developing current activity as well as estimating for future associated projects. 

The Ideal Candidate:
  • 3-5 years experience in a Quantity Surveyor role
  • Previous EPCM experience 
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Degree in Law 
  • We are able to offer attractive rates of pay on this $multi-billion mining project with long term contracts with this EPCM team.
