Audit Manager - Construction

My client is one of the countries most notable construction and development businesses and has been around for many years. Due to business requirements there is a need for a Construction Internal Audit Manager to join the business.
  
We are looking for someone that is keen to take their experience in risk, controls and construction processes into a new area.
  
You will be tertiary qualified in either Construction or Quantity Surveying or similar subject with experience as a Contracts Administrator, Quantity Surveyor, Development Manager or Engineer. 
  
My client will offer you training and development to assume a senior audit role offering exposure across the construction, investment and development arms of the business.

Responsibilities:
You will carry out internal audits, and support an environment of continuous improvement of business processes.
  
You will get the opportunity to influence in this role and will need to have the following skills:

• Excellent knowledge of the construction process, controls and systems.
• Experience working for a corporate construction or development business as an engineer, contracts administrator or similar.
• Excellent knowledge or risk and risk mitigation.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills.
• The ability to analyse and understand complex concepts.
• Lateral thinker with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Ideally experience in auditing.
• Excellent administrative and IT skills and ability.
