Our client has a requirement for Senior Electrical Specialist - Heavy Industry for a contract / perm opportunity. The positions are located across Canada in the Mississauga, Vancouver, Saskatoon, Sudbury and Winnipeg.

Our client is a worldwide industry leading EPCM in the areas of Mining, Energy and Heavy Industry. Currently they are experiencing rapid growth in their engineering divisions across Canada in the Mississauga, Vancouver, Saskatoon, Sudbury and Winnipeg.
Requirement or Qualifications:
Qualified Candidates will have:
- 15 years experience as Specialist or Lead Electrical Engineer in Mining, Heavy Industrial or Utility, having superior knowledge and experience in the design of HV/MV/LV electrical power systems, including substations.
- Competency in performing electrical studies and analysis of power system utilizing engineering software to determine short circuit, load flows and protective relay coordination.
- Significant experience in the preparation of technical reports, feasibility studies, equipment procurement and construction specifications, leadership and supervision of personnel performing engineering designs.
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant IEC and IEEE codes and standards
Qualifications:
- B. Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or registration as a professional engineer in an approved Institution
