Process Control Engineer

  • $140,000 to $150,000 package
  • Monday to Friday Role (Finish at 2pm on Friday)
  • 13% super + subsidized housing + bonuses

The Position:
We are seeking an experienced Process Control Engineer who will be reporting to the Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
 
The Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the sites PLC/SCADA/Communications networks along with implementing strategies for continuous improvement in equipment utilisation. 

In order to manage the control system to ensure a secure, stable and integrated system that will meet future coal production needs, you will need:
· To have superb leadership skills, a high attention to detail and strong communication skills.
· Be able to look at the bigger picture
· Have experience in version upgrades and can look forward 5 or 10 years
 
The Requirements:
· Knowledge of SCADA/DCS, PLC code and the Microsoft Office Suite
· Degree in control engineering
· Coal Experience (desirable)
· Trade and qualifications with a minimum of 5 - 10 years relevant experience
