International Business Manager - Explosives/Mining

A large manufacturing group is looking for the above to be responsible for their blasting operations in Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Minimum Requirements

• The ideal candidate has a Mining Engineering qualification as well as 5 years underground or surface mining experience as well as commercial/ sales or projects experience. 
• A Blasting qualification and or explosives experience would be a distinct advantage. 
• A valid driver’s license
• SA passport as well as willingness to travel is essential.

Job Specification

• Responsibilities would include Key Account relationships, managing the resolving of customer issues, pricing negotiation, ensure inventory control procedures are in place, manage and develop staff, manage high risk customers, safety and health issues, financial management and budgeting etc.
• This position would require travel Zambia, Zimbabwe and Botswana for at least 1 week /month.
