WYN Recruitment now has an immediate opportunity to join their Sydney based team on the very ‘warm’ Construction Desk. Focussing on the recruitment of site-based personnel across Australia and overseas this role is an excellent opportunity to make an immediate impact within the Sydney team and to start earning commission quickly, after the successful completion of your probation period. We are looking for sales or telesales professionals who would like to move into the challenging and technical area of engineering and construction recruitment. Full training and guidance will be provided in order to ensure your success. Based at the heart of Australia’s Mining and Resources industry you will learn all the tools you need to become a successful, top billing recruitment consultant.

The role:
This exciting and challenging role will learn the ropes by assisting Senior Consultants attract and retain suitable candidates for the multiple contract and permanent roles we are currently working on. We appreciate that starting from scratch can be daunting but if you posses a good telephone manner, and the confidence to apply what you will earn in our training session then you will pick up the recruitment knowledge you will need quickly. Recruitment is about tenacity, drive, the ability to adapt to the recruitment market as needed and more than anything good common sense. Under the guidance of some of the best specialist recruitment consultants in the industry you will learn how to approach candidates, develop relationships and be able to talk knowledgably about the engineering and construction industry.
You may feel that there will be too much to learn in the technically demanding area but we guarantee that after immersing yourself in the market you will be able to acquit yourself at a peer level with these experienced professionals.
As an ideal candidate you will possess the following skills:
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbally.
· A high level of accuracy in gathering information.
· The ability and drive to learn new skills and abilities.
· Tertiary qualifications in a business or engineering discipline (this is not essential).
· Excellent IT skills.
· The ability to adapt to a changing recruitment market.
· Good common sense
