With our clients plans coming into fruition they have multiple opportunities for Electrical Designers to join their growing team of professionals. Whether your background is materials handling or in the heavy industrial industry, and you are an Electrical Designer looking for big projects to put on your CV than look no further. This position is offered as a long-term Contract; with industry leading rates and to top it off you’ll be working on Multi-Billion dollar projects!
With these new projects set to commence, this is the ideal opportunity for an experienced Electrical Designer to join a team of likeminded professionals. You must be able to demonstrate strong skills using Microstation coupled with the ability to deliver appropriate engineering solutions within a specified time frame. Upon joining the firm you will benefit from flexible hours and conditions and you will be paid an hourly rate (weekly), with the possibility of a contract extension.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Must have experience in an electrical design capacity within the mining industry
- Possess a high level with Microstation
- Exposure to electrical reticulation for bulk materials handling facilities which will include conveyors,
- Substations and HV switchgear
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide less senior designers
- Relevant qualifications in Design/Drafting
