Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience of designing and integrating mechanical components ideally within the automotive or heavy plant machinery industries?
Established in 1950, this market leading company have been designing and building heavy plant equipment for various industries including construction and mining.
Having survived the recession through an adaptable infrastructure and large contracts with the largest and market leading construction and mining companies, it is now time for them to take advantage of this growing industry by recruiting into the design engineering team.
You will responsible for designing and integrating mechanical systems and networks into heavy plant machinery. With the use of Pro Engineer and AutoCAD, you will be on hand to design from concept to completion on a number of ongoing projects. Experience with AutoCAD is essential, in house training will be provided on the unique design packages this company employs
An excellent ongoing training plan will ensure your skill set is at the forefront of the marketplace which will enable you to develop not only your design skills but project management skills as well.
The Role:
• NPD - Targeting new components
• Development of Supplier and customer relations
• Design and build of mechanical components for heavy plant machinery
• The integration of Engines into heavy plant machinery
The Candidate:
• 4 years experience of mechanical design and integration in the Automotive of Plant Machinery industries
• Heavy engineering background
• Proficient with AutoCAD
• Training on Pro Engineer will be provided
