Industrial Outside Sales Rep

Job Description:

  • Use excellent communication and presentation skills along with effective negotiation skills and the ability to overcome adversity to achieve sales with existing and new clientele.
  • Use abilities to focus, prioritize and multi-task to grown profitable business while exceeding customer expectations.
  • Maintain superior work ethics, attitude and personality that portray integrity, self-motivation, competitiveness, and persistence.
  • Build opportunities through cold calling, networking and prospecting.
  • Sell Industrial Control & Automation/Electrical products and services by establishing contacts and developing relationship at all levels that have an influence on the decision making process.
  • Key account focus on mining, utility, and OEM while establishing relationships within other industries.
  • Maintain product and application knowledge consisting of Industrial Control & Automation.
  • Be familiar with all automation and control product lines in addition to electrical starting and distribution equipment.
  • Work closely with partners to provide value added solutions and services to expand our existing business and to target new accounts within the Control, Automation & Equipment market.
  • Make sure all reports and records are complete, timely, and accurate.
  • Perform any other duties and responsibilities, reasonably within ones abilities, which may be assigned by the Director of Engineering from time to time.
