Estimator & Service Lead

Job Description:          

• Develop repair estimates for all the Service shop and assigned area. Quotes will include all required parts and labor and a detailed scope of work. Supervise and appraise assigned employees’ performance. Communicate and follow-up with customers. Maintain records and data. Control repair cost and keep cost within budget.
• Inspect and estimate repairs on machines from the beginning to the end.

Requirements:

• Ability to learn and operate computers utilizing Empire and Caterpillar software.
• Knowledge and skills of Caterpillar repair procedures and of the Caterpillar product line.
• Interpersonal skills to relate to and communicate with others in a mature, objective and cooperative manner both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to maintain consistent attendance.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
• This position is designated as a "Safety-Sensitive Position".
