Our client is a provider of engineering, project delivery and operations in the mineral processing and mining industries. Due to an increase of new engineering projects at study phase our client is looking for two study managers to lead mineral processing studies. The role will focus around base metals projects and also allow for some exposure to Iron Ore related projects as well. As the Study Manager you will be expected to lead engineering studies from concept. Unlike other engineering houses in Australia our client will give you the chance to see study work right through to operation, either domestically or overseas.

The Study Manager will come from a Process, Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering past and have been involved in base metal projects from concept through to FEED and detailed design. Due to increase in project award and pending project award there will be an array of studies to work on giving a broad depth of involvement in projects relating around Gold, Copper, Mineral Sands, Silver and Iron Ore.

The successful candidate will have a degree in chemical engineer, mechanical engineer or equivalent. Have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in mineral processing plant projects involving base metals. Be a natural leader and have had involvement and a passion for conceptual study work.
