Accounting Manager

NORWELD MECHANICAL INSTALLATIONS is an industrial contractor with steel and pipe fabricating facilities in Prince George. They provide fabrication, construction and maintenance services to the mining, pulp and paper, oil and gas, power, chemical sectors throughout Western Canada. Norweld requires an Accounting Manager for their head office located in Prince George.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the supervision of the accounting department located in Prince George as well as the construction site offices.

Responsibilities will include accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, preparation of financial statements, job costing and detailed work in progress reporting.

Experience with construction project accounting and job costing are a definite asset.

Preference will be given to those applicants who have completed 2-3 years in an accounting program.
