Training Coordinator

This leading Civil Construction Contracting company is currently experiencing solid growth and is seeking a Training and Development Coordinator to manage the development needs of their staff.

About the Role
This is a newly created position where you will be charged with managing and coordinating the training sector for the organisation for both site and office based staff.  You will consult with Senior Managers and Line Managers in relation to training requirements as well as controlling the training budget. 
You will be responsible for (however not limited to):

• Partnering with management to identify core competencies of the workforce
• Sourcing government funded training programs
• Developing and or sourcing training materials for training programs
• Managing all company training material
• Identifying training and development needs within the organisation
• Keeping up to date and relevant training contents and database management
• Evaluating internal and external training and development programs
• Identifying training plans for all employees
• Assess return on investment training and development programs

About You
To be successful in this role you will have solid experience within a similar role and will come from the civil, engineering, construction or mining industries.  You will possess strong initiative and be able to work autonomously as well as within a team.  Experience working with government bodies is highly desirable as is a relevant tertiary qualification.
