Trainer/Assessor

Due to growth & development within Fortescue we have a vacancy for a Trainer/Assessor to be responsible for machine operation and competency based training and assessing. Your experience in developing and delivering training material will be essential to your performance in this role whilst delivering training courses and one on one coaching.

Working amongst a small team of Trainer/Assessors your role will be pivotal in supporting continuous improvement initiatives as you liaise with a variety of internal & external stakeholders & build strategic working relationships.

To be successful in this position you will have:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessing or equivalent.
  • Sound working knowledge and understanding of current training and mining legislations.
  • Demonstrated experience of training, development and competency based training systems.
  • Experience on Haul truck, Diggers, Dozers and ancillary equipment in a mining environment.
  • Sound Microsoft Office skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Personable and a team player.
