Senior Quantity Surveyor - Infrastructure Projects NSW

This large professional consultancy is one of the biggest of its kind - providing multi discipline services to the construction and property related industries. The international organisation has five distinct regions with approximately 3,000 staff across 30 plus countries. Their services include Cost Management, Project Management, Building Surveying and Facilities Management.

Their Sydney office is urgently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Cost Planner or Cost Engineer or Civil Estimator to produce cost plans and estimates on a large infrastructure and mining projects throughout NSW.

Within this role you will take responsibility for:

• Producing cost plans for rail and infrastructure schemes for high level review
• Reporting to the Directors and stakeholders
• Attending meetings with the client and the other consultants as required
• Negotiations with the contractor and client alike
• Representing the clients interests at all times

To be eligible to apply for this role you will have:

• Excellent knowledge of rail and civil schemes in conjunction with costs
• First class cost planning and estimating skills and pricing abilities
• The ability to rate items from first principles
• Excellent technical knowledge of rail, civil, mining and infrastructure works
• NSW expertise and knowledge if possible
