Their Central West NSW office is urgently seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to assume a leadership position in the practice due to the retirement of the previous manager.
Within this role you will take responsibility for:
•Lead a wide range of survey projects managing multi-disciplined resources
•Provide innovative technical advice to senior staff in order to provide their clients with high quality solutions.
•Prepare fee proposals for a range of projects that are financially viable to ensure competitive bidding
•Winning new work and achieving financial performance targets
•Have thorough knowledge of current industry trends, practices, standards and relevant policies
•Delegate work and manage a small to medium sized practice incorporating draftspeople, surveyors and engineers
To be eligible to apply for this role you will have:
- Degree in Surveying and/or relevant tertiary qualifications
- Registered as a Surveyor in NSW desirable but not essential
- At least 5 years experience in a wide range of surveying practices, software, data processing and surveying equipment
- Experience in various aspects of Surveying including Civil set outs and cadastral.
- Detailed knowledge of Acts and regulations relating to general surveying practices
- A valid NSW Driver's licence
- Fantastic people management skills and the ability to delegate tasks whilst adhering to budget and time restrictions
