Senior Exploration Geologist

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Exploration Geologist to join their team.

Edu / Skills / Exp

  • Degree in Geology / Geological Engineering
  • Work according to company safety and environmental policies and procedures
  • Must have at least 8 years of job experience in Exploration Geology
  • Ability to work in a team and individual environment

Duties

  • Ability to plan and implement regional and reconnaissance exploration programs.
  • Ability to plan and implement drilling programs including diamond and RC drilling
  • Ability to supervise junior and project geologists.
  • Ability to supervise exploration field crews
  • Ability to develop geological models from mapping and drilling information.
  • Understanding of QAQC programs
  • Good computer literacy with Mining Software such as Mapinfo, Micromine and Acquire
