Job Description:
- [Company] is currently looking for a Geologist to work with an Environmental and Scientific Corporation in Alexandria, VA. The Geologist will be supervising and directing environmental field sampling activities, geologic logging, oversight of well installation, and will be preparing various technical documents. Some work of the Geologist will include providing field oversight of remedial systems and landfill operations.
A great candidate for the Geologist position will possess All of the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology/Environmental Science or related field
- 10+ years’ experience working on Environmental Remediation projects
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification
- Experience in planning, executing, and reporting RI/FS programs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ArcGIS is a plus
