Group Accountant

Location: Central London / West End (W1)
Salary: From £65,000 to £70,000 per annum

Job Description:
A Group Accountant is required to work closely with the Group Financial Controller of this Mineral Exploration company.

Duties include: Year End / Interim reporting; Group consolidation under IFRS; Preparation of the PLC Year End and Interim accounts for listing/publication; Preparation of the audit files and statutory accounts; Controlling the balance sheet; Assisting with Company Secretarial duties for group Companies.

This role is envisaged as supporting the business in their drive to improve the accuracy and completeness of their figures. You will be a technically focused and hands on qualified accountant, with experience gained in the mining sector. Possess good analytical and communication skills (ideally with around 3-7 years PQE).
