Geo Environmental Consultant

Salary: £22000 - £25000

We have an urgent requirement for an experienced geo environmental consultant for a leading engineering consultancy based near Bristol. Working within an award winning company, you will work on a range of residential and commercial developments.

Suitable candidates will have a relevant environmental degree ideally with an MSc in contaminated land or a relevant subject. Further to this candidates should have experience producing detailed quantitative risk assessments for human health and groundwater contamination.

The successful candidate will partake in phase I, II and III contaminated land assessments and geotechnical investigations. Typical duties will include design of assessment methodologies, site walkover surveys, historical research, intrusive site investigation supervision, remediation project supervision, and production of detailed technical and interpretive reports.

We are seeking candidates who have experience working within a consultancy or contractor with projects involving contaminated land and remediation.
