Geologist

Our client, a large coal company are looking for a Geologist of 2 years experience to join a new exploration project and help manage the data migration project. The right candidate will ideally have a Geology degree and have worked on acQuire and SQL technologies.

This role will involve setting up new data systems to map and collate information on this new mine site.
You will also be able to evidence experience within GIS (setting objectives, relationing etc).

This will be a contract role (3-6 months) and is an excellent opportunity to join an new and ambitious operation and have a stand role in the exploration technology development.

To give some background on Progressive, we are a specialist Mining consultancy with 21 years recruitment experience. Having originally started within the UK IT sector, we now operate out of both Sydney and Perth and are working with numerous companies on the ASX. We place a candidate every 21 minutes and due to our past successes, have also branched out into Pharmaceutical, Banking and Oil and Gas
